Avid Sound Records is an independent recording collective devoted to the promotion and distribution of experimental music, free improvisations, and contemporary classical concert music of our time. Many of the albums are for sale by the individual artists themselves, and as such Avid Sound Records serves as a gathering place for independent recording artists. The goal is to give freedom back to the artists in what and how they record while putting forth the highest quality release possible. Avid Sound artists have released recordings digitally, on compact disk, and cassette tape.
